Pastoral Care and Intercessory Prayer

The Pastoral Care Team meets monthly. The pastoral care team is here to listen, encourage and point out resources. We cannot assist with housing and finances; however, we have a list of care managers in the Rogue Valley who offer these services very effectively. We have a list of Durable Medical Equipment that can be borrowed for those who have needs; that list is in the church office. There is also a list of folks willing to give rides to appointments, errands and/or church. If you need. There are people available to provide meals during a difficult time.

The Pastoral Care team also sends out email notices when someone dies or when a family member gives permission to share a prayer need with the parish.
We welcome more people helping meet the pastoral needs of the parish.

For more information please contact Rev. Daniel at rector@trinitychurchashland.org.

Prayers for healing, both public and private, meet the deep need we sometimes feel for prayer for ourselves and for others.  The names of those for whom public prayers are requested, are printed in the Sunday bulletins for one month allowing all members of the parish to lift prayers for those individuals.  Private prayers are undertaken by Trinity’s Intercessors, a small group dedicated to praying for those who wish the names be kept private.  Those names remain with the Intercessors until the issue is resolved and they are notified.

Requests for both forms can be made by calling or emailing either Trinity’s office or Ann Hoffner.
